ALERT: Wealth funds are about to pump $4T in IPOs.
By Jose Ruiz · · 5 min read

Morning crowd,
Jose here, keeping Founderscrowd safe.
I just listened to Thomas Laffont's presentation at the All-In Podcast liquidity summit.
What he presented is bullish. What I'm about to tell you is why I think it's a coordinated wealth fund strategy to get retail to FOMO buy at the peak.
This is a one-time alert because your money matters more than our open rate.
5 Stocks Already Pricing In the SpaceX IPO
Wall Street isn't waiting for the filing. Five publicly traded companies are already accumulating exposure to SpaceX's core revenue streams — Starlink, Falcon 9, and the defense contracts. We've identified each one, ranked by upside and risk tier. Get the before the listing window closes.

📺 WHAT THOMAS LAFFONT SAID (THE SUMMARY)
The thesis:
The unicorn economy is healthier than ever. AI is dominating fundraising. We're about to see $4 trillion in exits in 2026-2027 (SpaceX, Anthropic, OpenAI IPOs). This will be the largest IPO wave in history.
Key points from his presentation:
Unicorn economy up 70% since Sept 2024. Public markets made the same move.
AI funding is concentrating. Top 10 AI companies are capturing a massive share.
"Magnificent 8" emerging: SpaceX ($1.75T), Stripe, Anthropic ($900B+), Databricks, Revolut, ByteDance, Arc, Andreessen Horowitz plays.
Exits are thawing. 2026 looks healthy for cash returns (though still not 2021 levels).
SpaceX IPO June 12 at $1.75T. Anthropic and OpenAI IPOs coming Q3-Q4 2026.
AI revenue is real. $140B today, $300B this year, $600B by 2027.
Semis are on a generational run. Memory demand quintupled due to AI.
Every sector is being disrupted. Telco (Starlink), Auto (EVs), Biotech (GLPs), everything.
His conclusion: The outcomes are real. These companies are real. The public market will validate them. This is the future.
🚨 FOUNDERSCROWD'S TAKE: EVERYTHING IS DESIGNED TO PUMP YOU
I need to be very direct: Thomas's presentation is a masterclass in how wealth funds coordinate to get retail to buy at the peak.
Here's what's actually happening:
1. THEY NEED RETAIL TO BUY AT THE TOP
Wealth funds (Sequoia, Andreessen, a16z, etc.) own billions in private shares of SpaceX, Anthropic, and OpenAI. When these companies go public at $1.75T valuations, wealth funds need massive demand to absorb their shares.
But here's the problem: At $1.75T, SpaceX is already valued at the absolute ceiling. There's no room for a first-day pop. There's only room for a crash.
So wealth funds are flooding CNBC, podcasts, and investor conferences with "this is the future" narratives. They're getting VCs to pump the valuations. They're creating FOMO.
Why? Because they need retail to absorb 500M-1B shares at $135/share, so they can dump their $500B positions into your bids.
2. THE VALUATIONS MAKE NO SENSE
Thomas showed that SpaceX at $1.75T is worth 110x revenue. That's insane. Even growth tech trades at 8-15x revenue.
His response: "These are real companies, real revenue, real growth."
My response: Correct. But at $1.75T, all the growth is priced in. There's nothing left for surprise upside. The only downside if growth slows.
SpaceX's Starlink is growing fast. But Morningstar (actual valuation experts) put SpaceX at $780B fair value. That's 45% below the IPO price.
3.THE 'MAG 8' ARE NOW COMPETITORS
Thomas presented the "Magnificent 8" as companies to own for a decade. He's basically saying: Buy these at peak valuations and hold forever.
That's exactly what wealth funds want you to do. Hold their shares at inflated prices while they sell into your FOMO.
4. THE SEMIS ARGUMENT DOESN'T HOLD
Thomas: "Memory demand is quintupling due to AI. Semis will crush."
Reality: Semis already priced this in. NVIDIA is at $150. TSMC is at $180. Samsung is at $70. The semis have already run 300%+ since 2024.
If memory demand quintuples, it's already reflected in current prices.
You're not early.
You're late.
⚠️ THE REAL PLAYBOOK: HOW WEALTH FUNDS COORDINATE PEAKS
This is the script they follow:
Week 1-4: Flood media with bullish narratives. "AI is transforming everything." "These companies are worth trillions."
Week 5-8: Get analysts to raise price targets. "SpaceX could hit $2T." "Anthropic could hit $1.5T."
Week 9-12: Lock in retail through FOMO. IPO pricing comes in hot. "It's oversubscribed 50x!" Media coverage explodes.
Week 13-16: IPO day arrives. Retail buys at peak. Wealth funds dump shares into retail bids.
Week 17-26: Stock tanks 30-40% as reality sets in. Retail is underwater. Wealth funds are up billions.
This is what happened in 2021. It's happening again now.
💰 FOUNDERSCROWD'S RECOMMENDATION: WAIT 6+ MONTHS
If you're thinking about buying SpaceX, Anthropic, or OpenAI shares:
DO NOT buy at IPO. Wait 6+ months, ideally 12 months.
Here's why:
Valuations will reset lower. When SPACs, insiders, and early employees start selling (180 days post-IPO), prices will crash.
First-day pop is priced in already. There's no surprise upside at $1.75T. Only surprise downside.
These companies have infinite TAM but finite growth rates. Even SpaceX can't grow 100% YoY forever. When growth slows from 200% to 50%, valuations compress 50-70%.
The wealth funds will be sellers, not buyers. After they dump shares, institutional ownership will flip. That's when prices stabilize.
Better entry points coming. In 6-12 months, SpaceX could trade at $80-100/share (vs $135 IPO price). Anthropic could drop to a $300-400B valuation (vs $900B+ current price).
🎯 WHAT TO DO INSTEAD
If you believe in these companies (and they are real):
Wait for lock-up expiration. 180 days post-IPO, insiders can sell. Watch for insider selling patterns.
Buy on 30-40% pullbacks. When these stocks crash (and they will), that's when you buy.
Don't chase FOMO. The best investments are bought when headlines are pessimistic, not optimistic.
Own the ecosystem, not the mega-cap. Instead of buying SpaceX at $1.75T, buy satellite startups that will benefit from SpaceX's success at lower valuations.
Look at semis on the dip. Memory companies will be cheaper in 6 months. That's when you buy the quintupling demand thesis.
SUMMARY
💎 JOSÉ'S FINAL WORD
Thomas Laffont presented a masterpiece of wealth fund coordination. Every point was designed to create FOMO and get retail to buy at the peak.
The thesis is partially true (AI is real, growth is real, and disruption is real). But the valuations are completely wrong (110x revenue, $1.75T for a company worth $780B).
I built Founderscrowd to democratize private markets access. Part of that mission is protecting you from wealth funds dumping their positions at peak valuations.
My advice: Let the wealth funds IPO their companies. Let retail FOMO in. Wait 6+ months. Then buy on the dip when prices are rational.
That's how you make 10x returns. Not by chasing narratives at peak valuations.
Hunt carefully. Wait patiently. ☕
